Avon Services to the rescue...
After a long period of time, (low water pressure/flow rate) which eventually became little more than a drip, we were advised by Severn Trent that they were supplying 3.5 Bar to our Boundary Box, and that a blockage in our main water feed was suspected.
After making numerous calls to all of the Severn Trent authorised contractors, Richard from Avon Water Services came in a matter of hours (Thursday), surveyed the site and suggested the likely problem/options and sent a team out early Saturday morning.
The team, John & Jon carried out some investigative excavations and discovered that we did indeed have a blockage as suspected.
At that stage, as they did not have time/required equipment to complete the job, they managed to set up an "emergency"  overland pipe in order to at least provide us with a water supply, which was a relief to say the least.
Since the panic was then over, we agreed a date for the major works to be carried out at a later date. On Thursday 3rd October, John and Jon arrived on time, and carried out the work in a professional and safe (full PPE when required) way. Both were very technically competent, but also had great customer service skills, keeping us advised as the work progressed.
The work was completed to an exceptional standard and the site was left neat and tidy. One particular nice touch, was that our kitchen cupboard needed a slight modification to accommodate the new stop tap, they even did this to a very high standard.
Needles to say, I could go on.
Finally, thanks to the team at Avon Water Services for doing a fantastic job, and would have no hesitation in giving them our highest recommendation.

Richards team came out today to replace my leaking lead pipe under my drive, they came when they said they would, very calm, polite and assuring people, used their mole equipment to replace my lead pipe, very impressed with the job, cleaned up very well after, not the cheapest but great value when it comes to having a quality job done, thank you very much for your hard work and support today.

Our experience of Avon and manager Richard and his staff including Luke has been first class. We were contacted by a neighbour who had received a letter from Severn Trent regarding a leak on our shared supply. Severn Trent were demanding we fix it or face legal action, so the situation was urgent. I decided to call Avon and even though the neighbours had initially called another company, ultimately all of the houses on our shared supply ended up going with Avon to repair the leak. In our case Richard was patient and understanding, very helpful and price conscious. Dealing with Severn Trent was a complete nightmare and Richard took over dealing with them for us so we could get a free boundary box installation. We also encountered Luke and he spent over an hour helping to rectify issues at our property when he didn't have to. My elderly mum was very impressed with both Richard and Luke and I'm happy to pay them for the work. Avon Water Services laid a 50m underground cable for an EV charger. Rich and the team communicated well with us throughout.
